WATERWASH Mattituck Inlet, NY, 2007 - 2020

WATERWASH Mattituck Inlet is the prototype for a series of innovative stormwater management projects conceptualized and designed by Lillian Ball. The project restores native habitat, creates public space and educates visitors about pertinent environmental issues. It was installed at an eroded boat ramp park in Mattituck, NY and was funded by the Long Island Sound Futures Fund as a concept that can be adapted to coastal situations worldwide.
